The uniqueness of my photo session lies in the fact that I do not make ordinary portraits. My photo session is quite unlike any other photo session you may have had before. As an artist, I see that my mission is to bring beauty, joy, love and happiness into the world. That is why my portraits do not simply reflect how you look I create portraits that reflect your inner beauty, your soul, your inner light, and your joy, which are undoubtedly at the heart of every person. And most importantly, I add my own joy to the creative process.

Here are the most significant differences of my photo sessions:

1.  I m not only a photographer, I am also a make-up artist, hair and clothing stylist, and creator of new images for my models. I would be glad to help with your hair, make-up, and your clothing style.

2.  Rather than using artificial multi-set studios, your photo session will be some place you feel comfortable: at your home (or perhaps mine), or outdoors, by a lake, in the woods, or in a field the choice is yours.

3.  My portraits are unusually expressive; every portrait tells a story. I always attempt to help my models to see and express themselves in new ways. I create for them many different, sometimes contradictory images: romantic of funny, whimsical or pensive, joyful or serious, etc.

4.  During your photo session, 19th century-style dresses, fairy tale gowns, different kinds of costumes, fashionable hats, scarves and many other stylish and amusing accessories for adults and children are available from my collection.

5.  Contrary to popular belief, a photo session is not a series of rapid clicks of the shutters, but an intimate creative process lasting from one to three hours, sometimes even longer. The length of the session depends on how many people are involved, how many different images you or your child wish to try, and how many times you want to change outfits.

6.  During the session, I attempt to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. I want this experience to be enjoyable for you. I believe I must succeed at that, since most of my models tell me they had lots of fun (see Testimonials).

To make your portraits truly praiseworthy, I prefer to meet my models before the photo session, if possible. This short meeting gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and to extinguish any doubts, worries or fears that you may have from either previous experiences with professional portraits, or from total lack of experience.

Also, we will discuss how you, your significant other, or your child want to appear in the photo, with which props, clothes, images, etc. What you wear is important: it will affect the final outcome of the portraits as much as my expensive equipment and my skills as a photographer.

Additionally, we will talk about location choices for the shoot.

Discussing such questions in advance will help us to devote our undivided attention to the creative process during the photo session.

The day of portrait session is YOUR DAY: A day of celebration of your uniqueness. On that day I would prefer to see you in an elevated good mood. Please remember, a session is a process of creative collaboration. I would like us to spend a few hours focusing on creating portraits that glorify who you are, who your child or what your family is.

During the session I want us both to keep an open mind to any ideas that might come up. If you suddenly have a new idea, please don t be shy - share it with me.

We will take as much time for your photo session as will be required to satisfy all you wishes and needs. Here is no place to hurry. I will not rush you out before my next appointment, because THAT DAY I RESERVE ESPECIALLY FOR YOU. The day of your portrait session is YOUR DAY.

We will adjust your make-up, change your hair, switch clothes and accessories for you and/or your child as many times as will be necessary. Also, we can change the place or the setting of the shoot if we discuss it during the Portrait Planning Appointment.

Perhaps you might feel a little bit tired after your session, but you will certainly feel happy with yourself and excited to see your portraits.

Some time after the photo shoot I will invite you to my place to show you the best photos. I know from experience how difficult the decision making process can be. That is why I would be happy to share my opinions with you and to help you make this important choice. We can look through the pictures as many times as you want, and spend as much time on each one as needed.

During this time, you may want to consider not only which portraits you like best, but what size and quantity you would prefer. The prints you select will be ready in 2 to 3 weeks. However, expedited service will also be available.
